Redlands Land Values

REDLANDS SEES INCREASES IN LAND VALUES, BUT SOUTHERN MORTON BAY ISLANDS STILL AFFORDABLE

In March this year mainland landowners across the Redlands area awoke to new land valuations after extensive land sales and economic analysis undertaken by the state’s valuation service.
Queensland’s Valuer-General Neil Bray said the valuations reflected up to date and current land values and showed values in the Redland City Council area had increased by as much as 10.9 percent overall since its last valuation in 2016.

The good news for people looking to buy and/or invest in the Southern Morton Bay Islands is that land values have remained essentially static. These new valuations became effective on the 30 June.
